Involvement

The Challenge

A new website was launched in 2021 by another agency but lacked search engine optimisation. The content needed improvement, and the site had no rankings on major search engines due to low Domain Authority. Additionally, competition was fierce, with both national companies and numerous local competitors dominating search results.

The Solution

The first step was setting up a Google Business Profile to enhance local search visibility. Key citations and backlinks were built to strengthen the website’s authority, and optimisation efforts were focused on improving rankings in the Hertford area.

Since most potential customers searched for services on mobile devices, efforts were concentrated on securing a strong position in local search results. The approach was then expanded to cover the entire Hertfordshire region.

With success in the initial areas, the strategy is now being rolled out to additional towns and counties to expand service coverage and reach more customers.
